Lia was born in Wahiawa, Hawaii. She is part of a military family and has lived all over the United States including Florida and California. She has four younger sisters and a younger brother. Now that she is permanently located in Southern California she is excited to continue pursuing her acting dream.

She became known for her roles in Counterpunch and Finding Cody. She also appeared in The Unit and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and in 2014, she played a role in the Cameron Dallas film Expelled.

Before becoming famous she made her television debut at age 12 in the 2008 series When Weather Changed History.
