Megan Boone is an award-winning American actress who first achieved fame with her role as FBI agent-turned blacklist consultant on the NBC drama series ‘The Blacklist’. A regular on the series ‘Law & Order: LA’, the gorgeous and talented actress is also known for her temporary role on the CBS show ‘Blue Bloods’. Prior to achieving success in her chosen field, she faced a lot of challenges and almost quit acting. When Boone was on the verge of quitting, veteran actress Jane Alexander talked her out of it. Since then, she has been a powerful influence on Boone. Enjoying a huge fan following worldwide, the ambitious Boone has started her own production house called ‘I’m a Parade Production’, a non-profit theatre production company.

Megan Boone was born on April 29, 1983, in Petoskey, Michigan, to Marcus Boone and Jennifer Parr. When she was a child, her family relocated to The Villages, Florida, a retirement community, to stay closer to her grandparents. Her mother was the director of sales for The Villages, and her grandfather, H. Gary Morse, was the developer of The Villages property.

Boone was keen about acting from a very young age, and therefore studied acting at Belleview High School, from where she graduated in 2001. She further pursued her passion and in 2005, graduated from the School of Theatre, Florida State University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.

She also studied at the Asolo Repertory Theatre with Jane Alexander and Edwin Sherin, and did workshops with playwright Mark Medoff.

Megan Boone made her foray into acting with the short film ‘Elijah’ in 2001. In this short film, she played Abigail. After a gap of several years, she was seen in ‘The Mustachioed Bandit Meets His End’ in 2007, where she played the role of Kate. She also starred in the 2007 Los Angeles debut of the Charles L. Mee play ‘Limonade Tous Les Jours’.

It ran on CBS from 2003 to 2010.

In 2010, she did a few television series, and earned a name for herself in the television industry. She played the character of Junior Deputy District Attorney Lauren Stanton in the NBC series ‘Law & Order: LA’.
