Cover Image should allow for PNG files

In regards to cover images that can be uploaded, the current system only allows for JPG files.

It would be much more user friendly if you would allow for PNG files as this is the file created by DFL in the merge folder.   Would be much easier to pick a file from the merge folder (PNG) and then just drag it over for the cover file.

The current system:  Find the file you like, move it to a location, open it with paint, "save as" a JPG, then drag it over for the cover page.      If this can be simplified to just use the existing PNG, big thumbs up!

Thanks.

I see the workflow concern here, but unfortunately I looked into this and it is not possible to accept anything other than JPG for now. Sorry :(

Not gonna cap, that reply seems a little disengaged. I have trouble believing that you can't modify your websites source code to allow for PNG files to be used.

making png into jpg takes like 5 seconds. Also you can extract all your frames to jpg instead pf png, less space, similar quality, your src is most likely heavily compressed already, as everything, unless you need pngs for the alpha channel because you merge them in a video editing software to improve masks in post processing stage.

Ehh, fair enough.

Just pointing out in case you didn't noticed/know, I won't force you to extract to jpgs and converting png to jpgs is probably faster and easier than rewriting a code for the website to accept them.
