Welcome, we're glad you've joined!
Some basic info for you: there are essentially two applications that are up to date and used regularly for deepfakes. These are DeepFaceLab and the Faceswap Github repo. There are older applications available which will still work, but these are not recommended, as tech support is virtually non-existent, and they are based on old code. You can check the Downloads section of these forums for threads which contain links for both the newer and older applications.
DeepFaceLab is used by the admin here, and many of the Deepfake creators of this site. It has the advantages of being up-to-date, no installation of different packages required, and the DeepFaceLab dev often frequents these forums. There is even a usage guide (written by the admin) for DeepFaceLab in the Guides section. You can get a lot of support here for DeepFaceLab, and there are many knowledgeable people here that can answer any questions that you have.
Personally, I use the Faceswap git. I offer what support I can when questions arise, but I am far from an expert. The reason I use it is simply because it is what I started with, so it's an issue of familiarity for me.
Bear in mind that when you do decide to delve into making your own fakes, you will need to learn a few things. This isn't as simple as clicking icons, and there are specific hardware requirements. But honestly, the processes are much easier now than they used to be. If you have a little time and patience, I think you will be rewarded.
Good luck, and welcome again!
