I´m an industrial designer and my free time play with fotography, video recording and photogrametry, and now would like to add deepfake to the hobby list, so.. nice to be in here, gonna explore the forum and any tips for a newbie are welcome!

Welcome!

First of all, you should read the Rules for the forums. They are not lengthy, it's just a good idea. You can find the Rules here:  https://mrdeepfakes.com/forums/thread-rules-read-carefully

If you are wanting to create DeepFakes, then you will need to choose between the two current and supported applications. These are DeepFaceLab and Faceswap. Most creators here use DeepFaceLab, so you will get more support for that application in these forums. Check the Guides section for how to get started with either DeepFaceLab or Faceswap. Your choice will depend on personal preference and system requirements. DeepFaceLab is usually easier for beginners. DeepFaceLab is also currently ahead of Faceswap in practical development, and is a no-installation package.

If you are looking for older, unsupported applications, there is an archive in the Downloads section. These old, unsupported applications can be found in the Stickied Thread there.

You find that most members here are supportive and helpful. My advice is to do your research, and read the forums. You are much more likely to get help (if you need it) if you are not asking a question that has already been asked multiple times before..

Hope you enjoy it here, and good luck!
