How does adding hq pictures of the src effect the deepfake?

Hello. 1st thank you for your time and tips. I have a src video with a cell phone video of the src. I also have high quality pictures of the src subject. How does adding the hq pictures to the cell phone vid pictures src_ aligned folder effect the outcome quality? Some of the hq photos have the same lighting and do color match with src vid.

Thanks again!

Higher quality images always help.

You can add images to data_src\ and extract them using the .bat file. It doesn't matter what the file names are so you can place add all your extracted and aligned faces into data_src\aligned after.

You don't have to, when you train, you can train with random color transfer turned on and it'll match the skin tones.

If your data_src has a lot of white/blue light then maybe it is better to correct it by warming it up. One of my deepfakes ended up with almost a grey-scale effect in skin-tones because of the lighting in one of my facesets

Thanks for the reply and taking the time to help. If I trained a src and I find a blur image or obstruction in the png. Can I remove  the src png and continue the training?

Also If I find more hq photos during the training that I want to use, can I run the face alignment process add it to the aligned folder and continue the training process? does adding it to the aligned src folder in the later stages effect the outcome of the results video in a positive way?

Thanks again

Yes you can remove and add images anytime. If you re-run the extraction it will delete your old \aligned folder so make sure you backup your faceset before running extraction again.
