Train your model a little more with pixel loss on

any reason for suggesting that? .. even the guide said it's no longer recommended, and the man behind the jim carrey shining videos has that off..

I'm open to ideas, what is there to gain? and why enable it when it's being called a deprecated and not suggested option?

to me it sounds like it used to be useful but caused model collapses and is no longer recommended..

I personally know little about that option, I know a big issues were bad variety in source to match the destination.. I could have also adjusted the blur a bit more..

Anxious to learn more about your experience with pixel loss and how it can help

It's reduce jitter and makes more detailed face

Now after a lot of time has passed....

Yeah Pixel loss is in my normal process now, but only at the very end.  It is quite a dangerous thing to just leave on, when I first started using it .. even after many iterations, I couldn't trust a model to train over night because I'd often see a crash.. even with gradient clipping.

But now I will turn it on and back up regularly while monitoring it.. I only turn it on if I need extra detail and only at the tail end if I can't get get pixel loss to 0.3 at very least.. I usually can get to 0.1 or 0.2 without it..
