Question about optimizing the SAE model for my GPU

Hello,

For a while I have only been using DFL's H64 Model. I recently upgraded by GPU to a RTX 2070 with 8 GBs of VRAM. I am trying to learn how to use the SAE model but more specifically, create a model that will get the most out of my GPU. I have experimented with a resolution of 160 and a batch size of 4 (everything else default). This seems to be the max resolution I can get before going OOM. Should I be focusing on using the max resolution I can get? Or should I focus more on the batch sizes, dims, optimizer mode, multiscale decoder, etc...

I haven't seen anyone say that 160 vs 128 resolutions improve quality. I personally would work on a higher batch.

Higher resolution is crucial if the video has many close up's or if the face takes a big part of the screen.

For most videos, a resolution of 128 or 144 is enough, as long as the face is not getting "stretched".

Now if the video has the face of the actress taking 50% of the screen, then yeah high resolution will definitely be more important than the number of dimensions.

Yes, but I still want to see someone show a side by side comparison. Can we even tell the difference 128 vs 255 on a closeup shot?
