DFL - which steps/settings work best for converting?

Step 6 is training your model (got that done) BUT , I just can't seem do get the conversion process right! (I fail every time)
Which means I'm using the wrong settings! Could ANYBODY please tell which settings work best for converting? in DFL (DeepFaceLab)?
Converting is the step right after training (as we all know) - no riligious puns intented :p

I failed all the time also. Ever since past version 3-13. What I found to work for me was turning off Hyper Threading on my Xeons in the Bios. I am currently on 3-31 Cuda10.1 AVX and it works. Very slow converting time.

So weirdly enough, for conversion on the latest version my 1080ti is very slow, but my 1070 is okay (decent, but still slow).

If you're having conversion slowness, either wait it out or try using Mar.13 version (but model will not be compatible).

Bout the same for me.  My 2080 is 1.5ish iters on conversion and my 1070 in my laptop is maybe 4ish for most of it if i remember correctly.  It starts converting on the 2080 at 'normal' speeds but just immediately starts throttling down.

Mind sharing what driver versions you have running for the cards?

my 2080 is 419.67 and my 1070 is 419.17.

hmmm... where did you get those driver versions? From device manager I have this:

1070 - 25.21.14.1967
1080ti - 25.21.14.1967

Just google the device manager numbers, and you'll get the nvidia release version.

25.21.14.1967 == 419.67

Also looks like it's at the end of the dev manager version as well.

Dang, was hoping your 1070 was on a earlier version than the 1080ti and the issue popped up in a driver update.

Have to keep digging i guess

FYI conversion issue fixed in latest DFL.

I'm now using April 7 version with no issues in conversion.

For what its worth, conversion using just overlay and RCT is decently fast on my CPU as well as my GPU. I have a Hexacore 17 though so that Might be it. Plus I am using Linux, which might totally negate the speed difference since Vram is buffered for UI elements in Windows and not, of course CPU in either OS.
