In my case, it helps with blur and sharpens the replaced face.

Yes it likely will help.

@HaDenG Gigapixel keeps crashing on me... it only upscales ~500 photos / 76000+... very frustrating and not functional for me.

Hmm, that's odd I've never experienced any crash with my GTX1080 although I only import 1500 pics max to Gigapixel in one batch. It takes a while anyways.
What's your GPU by the way?

I am working on new Emilia fake. I will post the result here for sure. It may take a while though as final video's duration will be 04:45.
I may post some frames.

I am using a 1080ti. I will try scaling 2x instead of 3x. It just crashes with no errors like it was never opened.

Where is this program? I am currently trying to upscale each frame

Nice, I didn't know this. Thanks.
Unfortunately, its web base only for now and it's quite expensive.
I tried it with a sample video(NSFW) it got processed quite fast and looks like it uses the same model in Gigapixel.

I was hoping this tech would deal with highly compressed/low res footage better, but it seems to just blow Up the artifacts.

Here's a couple of upscaled frames from my new emilia fake. It's still WIP.
Video will come later.
I used the newest version 4.4.0

I've been experimenting with gigapixel.AI for some time. The software engineering is remarkable in the program but the lack of command-line processing tools, the memory leak problem and the sudden crashes instantly transforms a super useful program into trash. Such a waste. They have other amazing products but most of them lack batch processing. I've contacted them about the batch processing issue but they don't have it on their schedule yet sadly.

I have 12k merged pictures to upscale in Gigapixel. After 500~ the programm is closing. Someone have the same problem ? I have a 1080Ti and scaled with 2x

@dpfks also reported that problem, he also has 1080TI. I've never experienced any crash with my 1080. You can try to report this issue to its developers.

No.

@Malando
Okay I think the issue is with the trial version? Maybe there is a limit that's not specified.
