Lee Sung-kyung (이성경) is a South Korean actress and model who has acted in popular television dramas ‘Doctor Crush’, ‘Cheese in the Trap’, ‘Queen's Flower’ and ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo’. Her other TV projects include ‘It's Okay, That's Love’ and ‘While You Were Sleeping’. Besides these, she has worked in the 2016 film ‘Broker’ and has voiced the character of ‘Poppy’ in the movie ‘Trolls’. The South Korean actress has also guest-starred in a number of variety shows such as ‘Bible TV’, ‘Taxi’, ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’ and ‘Running Man’, to name a few. She has worked in a number of music videos for famous artists like Lee Hyun, Kang Seung-yoon and Akdong Musician as well. Starting her career by participating in modelling contests, Lee Sung-kyung has won several awards and honors from the entertainment industry. She received the ‘Best Female Fashion Model of the Year’ award at the event of CFDK Fashion Awards and earned the ‘Best New Actress in a Special Project Drama’ award at 34th MBC Drama Awards ceremony for her performance in ‘Queen's Flower’. Besides these, Lee is also the winner of the Excellence Award for Actress in a Miniseries at the 35th MBC Drama Awards function for ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo.’

Lee Sung-kyung started her career as a model in 2008 by participating in a local Super Model Contest. The following year, she modelled at the International Asia Pacific Super Model Contest where she was placed 5th. After this, Lee appeared in music videos for Simon D, Lee Hyun, and Kang Seung-yoon for their songs ‘Stay Cool’, ‘Because It's You’ and ‘Wild and Young’ respectively. She then made her acting debut in 2014 in the TV drama ‘It's Okay, That's Love’. The same year, she served as a cast member and appeared as a guest in the variety shows ‘Bible’ and ‘Running Man’ respectively.
After this, she did the TV series ‘Queen's Flower’ and appeared in an episode of the variety show ‘Happy Together’. Then in 2016, Lee did several television projects such as ‘Cheese in the Trap’, ‘Doctor Crush’, ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo’, ‘Taxi’, ‘Radio Star’, ‘Sugarman’ and ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’. In April 2017, she started dating actor Nam Joo-hyuk. Before her relationship with Nam, she was rumoured to have dated musicians like Kang Seung Yoon, Eddy Kim and Song Min-ho. As of September 2017, she is reportedly single, having broken up with Nam recently.
