Naomi Kyle is an actor and former on-air host for IGN Entertainment's video productions including its award-winning news show, The Daily Fix. Born in the small town of Ste-Agathe-Des-Monts, Quebec, Naomi grew up playing video games and indulging in movies during her spare time. Little did she know this would result in her being a pioneer in the video game industry by becoming one of its original gamer girls leading her to work in acting, gaming and entertainment, the things she loves most.

After high school Naomi moved to Montreal to study acting, cinema and music in college. After a year of being in the city she signed with Next Canada -- one of the top modeling agencies in the world. She went on to land numerous high profile campaigns for companies such as Adidas, Guess, a national billboard campaign for Virgin Mobile as well as a National TV ad for Joe Fresh.

Naomi was also able to land her first gaming gig as Gameloft's podcast host. In 2011, IGN Entertainment made her their new on-camera talent resulting in Naomi gaining recognition from IGNs gaming and entertainment fans across the world. As well as IGN Naomi has acted in indie features, shorts and is in pre-production on her own media content.

Naomi Kyle is one of the most popular women in the primarily male dominated gaming industry. The US based Canadian gamer is best known as the on-air host for IGN Entertainment's video productions. She has been hosting IGN's award winning video series, ‘The Daily Fix’, since 2011. For a couple months, she also worked for AskMen.com as one of their hosts for the online news show, ‘The Daily Brief’. She had been a successful model for a period of time, featuring in national and international ad campaigns for companies such as Adidas, Guess, and Virgin Mobile. She also appeared on a National TV commercial for Joe Fresh. In 2010, she worked in a video shoot for Elegant Wedding Magazine. She has also dabbled in acting. In 2012, she played a small role portraying a news reporter in the pilot episode of the television mini-series, ‘Project: SERA’ starring Julia Voth. In 2013, she played a significant role in the short film GEEKS, written and directed by Al White. In 2014, she was featured in the Netflix documentary, ‘Atari: Game Over’. The next year, she made a guest appearance in the biographical documentary, ‘Batkid Begins’, which released worldwide on June 26, 2015.

Naomi Kyle considered a number of career choices before settling on becoming a host for gaming shows. She tried her hand in music, drawing, dancing and film editing. During her college years in Montreal, she worked as a saleswoman at a family-owned music store for four years. She was then selected as a model by Next Canada, one of the top modeling agencies in the world. She even worked at some restaurants for a period of time. However, when she was 22 years old, her career took a different path after she was selected as a video podcast host at Gameloft. Kyle, who immediately became a fan-favorite, started to enjoy her very first hosting job and eventually decided to combine her interests in video gaming and film editing to have a career in online video game broadcasting. During this time, she made a short demo-reel and sent it to IGN Entertainment, one of the biggest gaming and entertainment websites in the industry, in the hope that she might get to host one of their shows. Interestingly, IGN already knew about her work, and flew her to the USA to meet their team. In 2011, she finally moved to San Francisco, California, after being invited to host IGN's immensely popular video series, ‘The Daily Fix’. One of her pet projects at IGN was "Cheap, Cool, Crazy", a show about weird but amazing products available on the internet, became a fan favorite, and ran for a long time.

Naomi Kyle regularly attends comic and video game conventions, participates in various panels, including some regarding women in the video game industry, and often acts as a judge for cosplay competitions. However, her male fans often react to seeing a professional woman in the game industry with a sense of disbelief. Realizing that, she has provided thorough details about her gaming background on her website. She started playing video games at an early age and would often play with her younger brothers on their Super NES console. Donkey Kong Country was the first video game she ever played. She became so addicted to gaming that when her parents refused to buy a new console after PS1 came out, she even started saving pocket money to get it. However, her interest in gaming expanded manifold after she bought her own console, the PS2. She fondly remembers playing the PlayStation games like Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Beyond Good & Evil, among others. While she didn't have the luxury of owning two consoles after Xbox 360 first released, she eventually bought it a few years later and became obsessed with Mass Effect II. She also played a number of PC games, but lacking a high-spec build, her gaming experience on PC has not been so great.
