Eefje Depoortere, or better known as Sjokz is a Belgian television reporter that primarily covers esports. She currently resides in Germany and hosts the European League of Legends Championship Series.

Early in her gaming career, she was a competitive Unreal Tournament player and competed in several LAN competition, winning many CLanBase EuroCups with the Belgian natonal team. Her nickname “Sjokz” is based on the phonetic spelling of “shocks” in Dutch, which was a reference to the Sock Rifle in Unreal Tournament.

Sjokz began her reporting career as a freelance journalist producing esports related contet for SK Gaming and ESFi World. Sjokz has a degree in history and journalism, but also obtained a teaching degree from Ghent University.

Sjokz gained more visibility in the scene as she took part in Travis "Tnomad" Gafford's weekly show "Whose League is it anyway ?" She also went to Korea to cover the OGN championship at the same time as Travis did.
