Pooja Hegde is an Indian Film actress who was previously a model. She was born in Mumbai India on October 13, 1990 and mainly appears in Telugu and Hindi films. In 2010, she competing for the title of Miss Universe India 2010 and was awarded second runner up. After that she started her acting career debuting in the superhero film Mugamoodi (2012).

Prior to becoming famous, she attending M.M.K College and started working at her mother’s marking business. Her interest in fashion and dance was shown by her various intercollegiate competitions. Despite her success in 2012, Pooja Hegde was eliminated early in Miss India 2009, even though she won the Miss India Talented 2009. The year after, she again won second runner up in Miss Universe India 2010.
